Direct Express Coatings uPVC Spray is a New Technology uPVC paint that has been specially formulated for industry, manufacturing and the refurbishment sector to offer a cost-effective alternative to foils with a colour library in excess of 19,000 formulations. The DEC Aerosols are manufactured to replicate a professional gun like finish.

• Coverage : Approximately 2 Square Metres per Aerosol @ 20 microns dft*
• Read and follow MSDS, TDS and label instructions
• Substrate & Application Environment must be greater than 10°C
• Shake Aerosol thoroughly before use
• Always use the same batch number on the same job
• Check colour & sheen. DEC will not accept any discrepancies arising after use
• Always perform a substrate test prior to full application.

• Suitable respiratory equipment should be worn when spraying
• Clean surfaces thoroughly using Prep Clean 2805/2806 using a lint free cloth to apply & remove.
• Ensure substrate is free from contamination
• Apply 1 light dust coat, allowing flash off for minimum 2 minutes @ ambient temperature, apply medium/heavy 2nd Coat
• Recommended DFT* 30 Microns
Drying Time Guide (1K): Touch dry : 10-15mins
@ 20 C / Hard dry: 45-60mins
@20 C Recoatability / Overcoatability : Maximum 8 Hours without the need for flatting
Wet Film*: 50 microns per coat
Dry Film Thickness* : 25-30 microns
2-3 years subject to good storage conditions.
Aerosol cans should be stored for two hours at room temperature before use. For long term storage, keep in a dry well ventilated area and away from direct sunlight and frost.
To clear the nozzle and maximise the lifespan of your aerosol, always invert the can and spray upside down for a few seconds after each use.
Should the nozzle become blocked, remove it from the can and soak it in gentle thinners.
Recommended Storage Temperature 5°C – 25°C
Recommended Application Temperature 10°C
The EU limit for this product (product category: IIB.e) in ready to use form is 840g/litre. The VOC content of this product in ready to use form is 753 g/litre.
* Technical Data Sheets indicate a Dry Film Thickness that will be achieved when applying a particular Wet Film Thickness. These values are a guide only and are not to be used as specifications. Film thickness will vary depending on actual use and specification. Great care should be taken to achieve the dft stated in the agreed specification and to avoid areas of excessively low or high thickness.
